the mind's eye + a workshop!
meet a new stranger and a workshop: "everything is a story"
what might it mean to feed your mind’s eye?
until recently, I hadn’t even really thought thatit was necessary. we often talk about caring for the different parts of us - the physical, the emotional, the relational, the spiritual…. but what about the creative, imaginative, dreaming side of us, too? how can can we care for it, feed it, help it thrive?
the image of a mind’s eye encapsulates this for me in a tidy-ish package, though it is so vast and expansive that an “ish” is the closest I might ever get to “tidy” when talking about it. in light of our world’s most recent wave of awful, of demoralizing, of heavy heavy heavy weight, I’ve found myself turning towards the mind’s eye as a place of hope. this character, Rouge, is a reflection of my reflections on the topic - how can we start with the mind’s eye, with our imaginations, to make life better for ourselves at the micro level, and to make the world and our systems better for everyone at the macro level?
I hope that Rouge and the accompanying thought-prompt might help you think on how best to fuel YOUR mind’s eye, your inner dreamer, to re-ignite or amplify it ~
a workshop dates approaches!
mark your calendars for Sunday, July 31st.
I am finally in a place where I can organize my thoughts around hosting an online workshop again, and I am really excited to invite you all to it!
as always, there is a pseudo-sliding-scale in the way of two payment tiers. both give you the same experience. if neither price point is still accessible to you, please please reach out so we can figure something out!
thank you for reading, I hope to hear from you/see you/chat with you soon ~
