AOYIW & an IRL workshop!!!
(psst! it is the last day to sign up for my online course!)
Coming at you today with news of online shenanigans, AND and some exciting “IRL” shenanigans to come! The good, creative, community-oriented kind of shenanigans of course!
I am overwhelmed at the enthusiasm with which you’ve all met me and my e-course pilot! Today is the last day to sign up so I can start properly preparing to get the ball rolling in the coming week!
We’ve got 10 lovely humans signed up to try this out for the next two months, and there are still a few spots left! It is a very low-commitment situation, with e-course style videos you can do in your own time, and little live meetings throughout the 2 months to discuss that you can join at your convenience. I’ll probably ask you to fill out a little survey at the end too. But that’s it! Otherwise you get to explore your inner world and expand upon your creative voice and aesthetic at your own pace, through the most fabulous process of collage!
You can learn more about my online course in my last newsletter!
Sign up here for Anthropology of Your Inner World! And don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions :)
I have the best community and was tagged several times in a call for collage facilitators for a series being hosted by a MAGAZINE SHOP in Toronto - yes. That’s right. A collage artist’s DREAM collaboration, basically!
Issues Mag Shop is an incredibly cool and sweet little spot in Toronto’s west end that celebrates the persevering art of print! Their mission is to “celebrate the people and projects keeping print alive.”
My collage night will be Tuesday March 21st, from 6-8pm! No experience necessary and all materials will be provided. This is my first IRL workshop in a very long time and I am really looking forward to sharing in the joy of collage-making in the same room together!
I am also encouraging attendees to wear a mask (however I don’t think the venue is making it a requirement) and know that I personally will be wearing a mask!
In regards to accessibility, the organizers write that it is: “partially accessible. We have ramp access to enter the space and wide, unobstructed pathways within the interior. Our bathroom is located on the main floor, but it is very small. For further accessibility questions please email us at hello@issuesmagshop.com”

ok, now I go back to my hole of video editing, doing my job-job, writing poems, and taking my dog out for poops in the snow storm because his new food has increased his output by a little more than double, HA! TMI? Sorry. He’s very cute though.
hugs,
katia
ps. for my next newsletter I want to share some fun things my friends are doing so it isn’t all always all about meeeeeee. so tell me - what are you up to? what do you want to know about? what have you been working on lately? please please share!
This all sounds very exciting-Congratulations! I'm deep in my healing, doing little else except for domestic chores, parenting, and resting... lots of resting.
